When you are away on tropical beaches with the sun beating down on your golden skin you are already aware how important it is to keep skin protected by using a lotion containing SPF. But what about protecting your hair?

It is just as important to protect your hair from the effects of the sun as well as the sea salt or chlorine from the pool.

Not only can they dry out the hair they can also damage the colour which you may have just had done (and paid a lot of money for).

My advice would be to use a light leave-in conditioning spray which will keep the hair moisturized and silky without weighing it down like a lot of heavy products do. Also wear a hat whenever possible, this will lessen the chances of sun damage and leave your hair rich and vibrant.
